About me
I am a qualified wilderness guide and tracker with extensive international experience in Southern Africa and Europe.
Inspired by the wilderness surrounding our family farm in South Africa, I began my professional journey as a safari guide and guide trainer. Seeking to make a tangible impact, I later dedicated four years to a Bison Rewilding project in Romania. From this project emerged the community initiative WeWilder, of which I am a co-founder, where I gained extensive experience in how wilder nature can positively shape local communities through engaging experience design and hospitality.
As a passionate rewilder, I’m equally enthusiastic about guiding groups in nature, training European wilderness guides, and leading workshops on wildlife tracking, as I am about consulting for wilderness development in Germany and advancing rewilding across Europe.
My experience in wild nature has convinced me that if we are serious about reversing biodiversity loss and climate change, we must trust nature, and give her back space, time, and integrity to unfold her inspiring potential.
